The film will feature actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, first time ever in the silver screen. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu will mark as the debut direction of newcomer Shakun Batra and will be produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is scheduled to go on floors in December of this year. Director Shakun Bhatra, who worked as an assistant director in the film Rock On, has earlier worked with Imran in his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaana Na. Imran informs, “I am doing another film with Karan Johar. The film will be directed by Shakun, who has been a friend ever since he joined the industry and was a second assistant director on Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He has written the script with our mutual friend Ayesha."
